Adding new author to blog fails to update "My Blogs" in buddybar

Before submitting this as a ticket, I was curious if others have seen this same problem: When you add a new author to a blog using the WPMU site admin menu, it does grant the user the ability to publish to that blog, yet it fails to update the BuddyPress buddybar on my installs. I’m using WPMU 2.9.2 and BP 1.2.1.

Have others seen this issue?

Thanks, r-a-y. Do you have any idea what causes that error? Is there a separate BP table that shows which blogs a user belongs to?

Just glancing at the code, it appears no checks are made to see what role the user has. It only looks for the creator of the blog at the moment.
