BuddyPress 1.2.x compatibility

    Should there be a 1.2.x intermediary release, or all should focus on the upcoming 1.3/3.2?

    I am a first time user, but I think it depends on your resources. It would be great for developers (like me) to use a 1.2.x version for web development (and testing). But since the 1.3 should be coming soon…

    Although we don’t know HOW soon exactly, a 1.2.x might be nice =-]

    First, thanks for a really cool plugin, Stas. I installed in a clean, brand new install with only buddypress, and scholarpress plugins activated.

    Also unable to create an assignment. I see a page but no content under the subnav menu bar.

    So my vote is to issue an up date fixing this, or at least tell us where to patch the plugin code to fix it.

    Thanks Kchun,
    I still believe it’s worth waiting for BuddyPress 1.5, just because of the following features:

    * assignments (including quizzes, automatic grading)
    * lectures (courses/sub-courses will be replaced with a new handbook style content type that will offer a way of organizing content in a hierarchical mode/handbook style)
    * a cleaner UI
    * some usability tools like progress display and bookmarking
    * 3.2, 1.3 compatibility including distraction free writing mode
    * a lot of security improvements (like: users won’t be able to upload and see others files)
    * bookmarking tool
    * progress indicator tool
    * breadcrumbs?!

    so this won’t be updated until buddypress 1.5 comes out? awesome plugin btw
