    Thank you to all the developers and those that contributed!

    Quick question, what is going on with testbp.com? it has been on the fritz for several weeks with a 500 error:

    Forbidden
    You don’t have permission to access / on this server.
    Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    We decided to shut down testbp, because it was only really getting used by spamers.

    1.8 is out! yipeee :}

    @djpaul shame about testbp.org, bloody spammers! i used it to get an idea for the default “expected” behaviour of BP when working with customised themes.

    @boonebgorges – what’s “Di Fara” by the way?

    @djpaul of course as soon as i create my account :/

    @henrywright-1 it’s a pizza joint in brooklyn that people are apparently fond of :)

    Thank you for the update, excited to try out the new group meta loops and better group members queries.

    @henrywright-1 and anyone else who might be wondering What Di Fara is or how a pizza joint could be so good that it deserved having a version of buddypress named after it Business Insider actually put together a little video about it. Apparently the the average wait is about 2 hours and it’s $5 a slice, that being said it does look pretty tasty and worth the price, not sure about the wait though:

    I am going to start naming plugins after pizza as well! Private Community For BP is now dubbed “Hot & ready” cause I am to impatient to wait two hours, and for just over 5 bucks I can get a whole pizza at Little Caesars instead of a slice! LOL!

    hi @bphelp, @ubernaut, @boonebgorges and all others !

    actually, we’re waiting at least 3 mounth (720 -> 744 hours) for a new BuddyPress version for $0 ! Despite it’s NOT a cheap plugin 😀

    Di Fara’s waiting time is 2 hours for a complete pizza. For a slice you wait “only” half an hour/ 1 h (as manager said in the video 3:25)
    A slice of handcrafted pizza for $5 is not expensive, mainly if you compare to a common ordinary awfull chewing gum consistency pizza for $5.50 and more ($14/EUR10,90 min. actually in France) delivered worldwide by P**** H** for example.

    Suggestion for the future: instead of napoli…tising BP plugins (already taken naming concept for BuddyPress), perhaps giving some pizza’s accompaniment would be better (or should i say appetizing ?). Something like a wine or an ice cream name ? 😀

    For inspiration:
    wines
    ice cream

    Private joke: Barolo i Pizza = BP 👿

    You know I was just joking right? Maybe I will dub it free beer, JK! I know people would love that for sure. lol! Just a little BP humor to lighten the mood!
