    Thanks!

Please check if this is a problem – there are no “situations” visible in the “add new email” section.

@vinzen – Can you try reinstalling the email content?

In the WP admin dashboard, navigate to “Tools > BuddyPress”. Next, select the “Reinstall emails (delete and restore from defaults)” checkbox and click on the “Repair Items” button.

Can you check if that solves the problem. If not, please report back.

@r-a-y I have the same issue have tried disabling my caching option which is wp-rocket to see if this was the cause. Have also tried your tip above which also made no difference to the issue.

@r-a-y I did the following operations:

    1) Repaired items as you suggested
    2) Changed theme to twentyfifteen
    3) Switched off Cloudflare’s rocketscript
    4) Deactivated all plugins except a couple of security plugins, Jetpack, and BuddyPress

    The issue still remains.

@jersey-peeps and @vinzen – please keep an eye on https://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/6936

Can you let me know (either here, or over there) the answers to these questions? We’re still trying to figure out what might be the cause of the problem:

What version of WordPress are you using? Are you using multisite or not? Do you have any unusual BuddyPress configuration settings enabled (if you don’t know, then the answer’s probably no!)? How did you install BP 2.5 – through the WordPress updater, like normal?

Do you have any other plugins active that do *anything* to taxonomies? Does your theme?

I have a problem with the {{{message.url}}} token, when i click on the link in the message, the browser can’t find the page.

I think the problem is the writing url: http//message_url, missing colon after http

    @vinzen

    1) WordPress – 4.4.2
    2) Multisite – NO
    3) Unusual BuddyPress configuration – NO (I don’t know what it means)
    4) BP 2.5 install – through normal WordPress updater
    5) Yes, “Posts in Sidebar” – but the problem remains even after deactivating it

    About customizable email text..

I see a screenshot of the front-end customizer but I expect this text can also be changed throughout the WordPress Dashboard somehow?

I don’t use customizer support. I always rip that out of WP core on every single install.

Everyone: please make your own threads for support.

@@neijisly: when you post again, please link to the plugin on wordpress.org/plugns so I can check something.
