On a fresh install of

wordpress 3.5
buddypress 1.6.2
bbpress 2.2.3

I get the following glitch

Forums created through the ‘Create a Group’ section show up in the forums list but return a ‘Page not found error’.

This can be resolved by going through the Group Admin -> Forum and ticking the ‘Yes. I want this group to have a forum.’ box again followed by Tools -> Forum -> Repair Forums.

I am using Permalinks ‘Post name’ & do not have ‘Discussion Forums’ ticked under the Buddypress settings.

Sorry i don’t have a live site to demonstrate. I’m working on a test site.

Hi ray. I tried your link but still have the same problem. After creating the group and forum thru the group, i have to go back into the group admin and tick the forum box again to make it work. it seems to be creating the forum; just not associating the group with it the first time around. Thanks for your efforts

Hopefully it will be addressed in the next bbPress update.
