Change the Verbiage from “Unlocked” to Other?

So, I have this adult BDSM fetish site where the term “Unlocked” is antithetical to the concept. I have tried to find where the word “unlocked” is in the code so I can change it to something else … Anyone know where this may be?

Is it in the loader.php file? There’s a comment that says I can override them in wp-config.php which I am a little leary of doing.

think I just peed myself laughing.

I think you may be wanting to edit the language file, have a read of the page in the bp codex that pertains to customising languages and slugs.

    Haha @TheAlchemist :D

What you will probably find easiest is to create a language file, like @hnla suggested. Take a look at https://codex.buddypress.org/extending-buddypress/customizing-labels-messages-and-urls/, it’s roughly the same idea. It can be a bit fiddly to get working the first time, but once you have, it’s a real easy way to update the strings without having to update all the template files.
