do_action( 'bp_album_all_images)

  • claudeg

    In all-images.php, at the beginning it says: “To use this sub-template, just add “do_action( ‘bp_album_all_images’ ); ” to any template on your site”

    With the older version of BP Album, I used to add this “do_action…” on the member’s profile template and it use to show only the member’s photos.

    Now, with version, it doesn’t work anymore and I can’t find any code line to replace that.

    Any idea?

    Are you sure you’re using the right templates, or have the code pasted in your template file? It’s working perfectly well on several sites I upgraded today.

    Yes it works but not the way it use to work.

    I used to put it on the member’s profile page to show some of his photos directly on this page (template)

    Now, it still shows photo but photos of everybody, not just the member’s photo

    Still haven,t got it to work…

    I think my problem is related to args[‘owner_id’] in the all-images template.

    When I use do_action( ‘bp_album_all_images) , it doesn’t discriminate the origin of the photo: it shows every photo no matter who is the owner. I want the code to take in account the owner of the album and show only his photos (that’s the way it use to work before I upgrade to the latest version)

    @claudeg – in case this is useful to you or anyone else: I was having this same issue. After you posted that it might be to do with that arg in the all-images template I think I found a fix. I replaced this line:
    $args['owner_id'] = false;
    $args['owner_id'] = bp_displayed_user_id();

    That seems to have done the trick. I’m a little worried as the comment next to that line did say “do not change”, but as I am running this on a fresh site I figured I’d give it a go and I think the gamble paid off…
