Editing Docs template files

  • Thanks for this plugin!
I can see that the template files of buddypress docs are separated in a “templates” folder. Is there a proper way to copy them in to my template folder and edit? I just don’t want to touch files inside the plugins folder to leave the updates opportunity.
    Thank you!

Yes. Create a directory called ‘docs’ in your theme directory. Then copy over the template files you want to override from buddypress-docs/includes/templates/docs into this new [theme]/docs directory. That should work – let me know if it does not (I have not done extensive testing with overriding templates.)

Unfortunately that doesn’t work with latest wordpress, buddypress and buddypress docs :(
I tried this way and many others – nothing helps.
