Email confirmation link for new users?

Hello,

I am using Buddypress 1.5.5 and was wondering why new users do not get confirmation links in their email when signing up. Is there something I need to setup for this?

i have the same problem too with Jloc14, when im registering user they cant find the activation link on their inbox! please help me regarding this problem. thanks.
