Errors in Lecture

  • J W

I have a new installation of Courseware, 0.9.7 with WP: 3.4.2

Everything is going smoothly, except that users aren’t able to access a list of all the lectures in a course. From the dashboard, they see (5) Lectures, and when clicking on “View Course Lectures” they receive an error: ‘BuddyPress Courseware Error! Cheatin’ Uh?’ The URL its redirecting to is groups//courseware/course/ the tab its landing on is Course Description, where they get the error.

Looking at URLs given to actual lectures they are /courseware/lecture/, and going to just /lecture displays a blank page….

I’ve verified all group members are set as student, and the group has a teacher assigned as well.

The error appears for both Site Admin users and Regular members. I am not using the default theme, and had to install the BP theme pack for the Blaskan theme.

On occasion i get the following error: Warning: array_merge() [function.array-merge]: Argument #2 is not an array in …/wp-content/plugins/buddypress-courseware/roles/roles.class.php on line 269

I’m at a loss right now. Ideas?

It’s not an error, it’s a warning. Turning off php warnings will fix it.

    Insert this code

on the top of this page, after the beginning php tag <?php

this will get rid of that error, make a backup copy first by downloading that page.

Looks like there’s an issue with permalinks.
Go to your permalink options page and hit `Save` to flush the rewrites.
