I’m about to go on an adventure to create a tournaments plugin/component. The tournaments will be played over a fixed period and I want to auto-delete or at least flag for deletion so I don’t have to store all this dead data in mysql forever. I’m sure this is some sort of cron job work which I’m unfamiliar with, but I’m hoping someone has a link or code for how this might work.

Also, when it’s time for deletion, I’ll need to delete the tournament, match info, photos loaded to the tournament, activity items, etc. I am assuming this is the same with groups, so I’m hoping some of the functionality is built somewhere.
