“Follow this topic” button 100% width problem

  • jcassano

    So, first of all, the obligatory “this is a fantastic plugin”, which it is.

    I’m having a bit of trouble with the “follow this topic” button that shows up on forum threads. Right now it looks like so:

    As you can see, the button is extending across the full width of the content area. I found what appeared to me to be the problem, the width:100% attribute set it bp-activity-subscription-css.css for class .group-forum-topic .ass-topic-subscribe

    However, when I modified the width to 10%, I had issues with alignment, like so:

    So, I was wondering what attributes I need to adjust in order to make the button show up as a reasonable size and leave the layout of the page intact.

    Thanks in advance.

    @jcassano, just a guess since I can’t see the actual markup/styling: I assume that that little emblem and name (Jay….) is wrapped in a div. If so, float that whole div left. If it doesn’t have an ID, give it one.

    `div#whatever_ID_goes_here {
    float: left;

    It’s worth a shot…
