Following vs. Friending

Does anyone know when this plugin will be released?

I much prefer the follow concept to the friend concept the way it’s implemented here at BP.

Please let me know where and when I can get it, I’d like to implement it before I launch my community.

Would it make sense to use both, friendship AND following?

What are the diffrences between the two?
Also, if you implement teh following on a running BP site, aren’t the members going to be troubled by that? Friends won’t convert automatically into followers, do they?

gian-ava – You’re correct. Current friends do not get converted over to following / follower users. Might want to ping Andy about this.

tahah – It’ll be released in the next week or so when BP 1.2.4 drops.
