Im trying to figure out how i can add some more fields to the profile beside each post in the forum single page user-meta.

that is the way it looks at the moment… If you notice, i have added the users post counts already.

I would like to add a link to send a private message ass well as add other profile fields that have been added using these two plugins:

and
http://buddypress.org/community/groups/buddypress-xprofiles-acl/

This is more than likely a very easy thing to achive… Im simply not familiar with how to call on the current forum poster to add the profile info.

I have done an extensive search for the answer to this question but could not find much… if any answers.

Whatever you do is going to need some re-working after a while. bbpress is getting rebuilt from the ground up, including it’s integration with buddypress.

That is fine… Im sure when the new bbpress comes out i will revamp the forums completely. But for the time being i would sill like to know how to call on the current poster for the single page forum.

this plugin is doing a great job on this: https://buddypress.org/community/groups/cd-bp-avatar-bubble/
but you need to click or hover on the avatar to see the stuffs. If you want to display the stuffs without click or hover, you can study his code to see how he get there.

@imjscn I tried using that plugin but it seem to make all pages run very slow. I know how to call on the functions of the profile field i just dont know how to make it display for the current forum poster.

Im actually using that plugin now and have looked at it. I still just need to know how to call on the current poster in order to grab his/her data.
