Getting oembed to work with TINYMCE

    Hi Ray,

Can you suggest anything to get this plugin to work with TINYMCE? We are using it on our frontend in certain spots, where users can create posts etc…

The problem is, is that the url never ends up on a line by itself (it’s normally inputted into the database with extra HTML code) so it ends up looking like

    `

    Some text here
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZMwKPmsbWE

    `

and for whatever reason, nothing displays (checking the code there is sometimes a half closed tag or something, so the regular expression is dying).

However, the video does show up in the activity stream, say just not on the forum post.

Any ideas would be really helpful!

    Thanks

Maybe I should add an @r-a-y tag :)

Don’t have time to look into this at the moment.

Could probably filter the forum code to add back the break lines that TinyMCE removes before oEmbed runs.
