How-to disable Global Activity Stream in BuddyPress?

    I’m working on a theme and I wish to exclude the Activity Streams for my personal site. Is there any possible way of hiding the Activity Stream page of BuddyPress while enabling the @mention module? Would there be any possible alternative to hide it in an efficient manner?
