How to handle invalid username from getting redirected to wp-admin page?

    Hello,

    We are using WP 3.5, BP 1.6.2. Want to know if there is a plugin which can trap any attempt by user trying to log in using a wrong username. When a wrong username is entered, then, as of now, the site redirects them to the WP-admin page. Is there any way to avoid that and continue to show the home page after displaying some brief error message?
