I need people to write in the (Group) forums part of my site, but what they are doing is just writing in the box that says “Whats New” and leaving their link there. (Obviously to just get a link back)

So the three options I am looking at is,
Just make the forum part of the site, do follow,
or and, get rid of that box that says “Whats new”
or and, when they login, direct them to a page that says, ” you must write in a forum, or your post will be deleted.

Any help or suggestions would be great, thanks.
