Navigation Customization

    Hi!

BuddyPress really should have “Navigation” in its options.

I can’t believe such a simple thing is missing!

It’s so difficult to add a tab to the navigation!

Customizing the navigation requires editing header.php! I don’t know PHP at all.

Isn’t BuddyPress supposed to be simple and easy to use?

So I really hope BuddyPress 1.2.4 will incorporate this. Editing PHP is way out of my capabilities.

i’d like to see this feature as well … WP 3.0 will have a Navigation/Menu-customizing function, maybe we’ll get this in BP too …

No, buddypress is supposed to be a plugin that allows developers/bloggers to add a social network to their wp/wpmu. Personally I wouldn’t want that at all, look for a plugin or hire someone to do it for you, it isn’t that hard, you could even just copy paste.

And by making 2 topics doesn’t mean your getting help faster, just that your annoying apposed to the other users that have questions.

1.3 will use WordPress pages for navigation, so you can just add/remove/move pages around to edit the main navigation.

    Yes! Finally!

Can’t wait for BuddyPress 1.3 and WordPress 3.0 to arrive!

@Xevo I wasn’t sure which forum to post in. So sorry for posing two times.
