New sites + Cubepoints auto-activated

This is likely a Cubepoints issue (not Cubepoints/Buddypress integration), but you guys are smart and this is related to Multisite installs.

I have Cubepoints network activated so it’s already active on each new site that is created, but it doesn’t actually start counting points for things on the new sites until you go in and “submit” the point values on each individual site. (I’ve hardcoded the points in the plugin so they are all the same.)

Obviously I don’t want to have to go into each new site and submit the point values for Cubepoints so it starts counting them. It should start counting automatically on each site.

Any thoughts on how to make this work?

I don’t off hand. I’d ask over at the official cubepoints forums –

Do you have to re-save the point settings on each site with my plugin as well?

Tosh, the Buddypress plugin works fine. It’s just on the individual blogs/sites and Cubepoints itself.

I’ll ask over at the Cubepoints Forums, though they don’t seem particularly responsive these days.

Hi guys, I haven’t tried this myself, but in thinking through it I imagine it would work. You could perhaps use the Site Template plugin to create a templated site by which other sites would be created and with CubePoints setup in that templated site, sites created using that template should hopefully have everything intact and ready to use.
