    BuddyStream Plugin (BETA) to be released on October, 15th! Get Excited… most of the “bugs” have been squashed and this plugin IS the next big thing in “social network integration” for BuddyPress!

    Just added to the 1.02 fix:
    In addition to what is mentioned at the above link…

    Fixed issues with escaped characters showing slashed in Facebook/other and a system “check” will now happen when enabling the plugin to make sure that you are meeting the minimum requirements to use the plugin… this should help cut down on extraneous weird issues that are happening because the minimum server/apache requirements have not been met.
