    @adityashevle

    Hello experts,

    I have been searching for a way (plugin) to automatically update a persons age every year, without ME having to actually physically update the persons age via CMS. I have made a textfield named “Age”, using buddypress.

    Please Help Me Out…
    Thank you.

    Doesn’t exist for BuddyPress. You have to code this on your own.

    Note that you need a date to calculate a members age. Instead asking their age, ask the complete birthdate. Once you have that, you can show a calculated age.

    To do that you need to use mysql2date, strtotime and current_time.

    Sorry, but the fact you don’t know how to do that has nothing to do with BuddyPress Support.
    You have to learn php or hire a developer.

    Hi
    I am using buddypress 2.8.2, Here I get the birthdate (mm/dd/yyyy) in the registration form and viewed as age in the output.
    I have a doubt: In this case whether the age gets updated every year for the users.

    Thanks in advance

    Whether age gets updated will depend on how age is calculated from the birth date data you’ve captured.
