Problems for users

  • If i have invite-anyone activated every user who is not an admin get this error when they visit the dashboard.

    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 122880 bytes) in /var/www/ on line 14908

    Any ideas? Im using WP 3.0.4 and buddypress 1.2.7 and a bunch of other plugins.

    From the nature of the error, I’d say that Invite Anyone is not causing the problem. IA does not use the SimplePie class at all, so the out-of-memory problem is not being caused by IA. It’s probably that you have too many plugins running, and IA happens to be the straw that breaks the camel’s back.

    FWIW, the SimplePie class has to do with parsing RSS feeds. So it could be that something on your site is choking on RSS. Maybe it’s one of the dashboard widgets. Or maybe you’re running something like FeedWordPress.

    OK, i got it fixed by increasing php.ini memory, it was wierd that admins was not affected by this.
