Removing activity from member profiles but keeping group activity.

    Hi,

I’m still fairly new to BuddyPress. I’ve been looking around for a while but cannot find specific information.
In would like to remove the activity to be displayed on the member profile and was wondering about how to do that. I could probably remove the code form the template, but I was wondering if there is a more elegant solution like removing an action – alas, I didn’t find the appropriate one to remove.

I cannot completely remove the activity component, as I need groups to work. I just want the contributions to be ONLY visible in the groups, not the profiles. If I remove the code (once I found it) from the members template section, will BP still resolve URLs like member/abc/activity and show the content on a generic page?

More generally, does anyone know of good customizing tutorials? Or hook directories? I found this one – http://etivite.com/groups/buddypress/hooks/ – but I’d really like to understand the code and template structure from the beginning.

    Thanks for any help!
