Rename “Edit Profile” to “Edit Profile & Privacy Settings”

    Hello all, I am new here and looking for some advise on building a child theme. I am building a child theme based on the BuddyPress default theme bp-default and trying to rename “Edit Profile” to “Edit Profile & Privacy Settings” to give the user more privacy option.

    Edit the language file.
    Just edit/add an entry for the words or phases you want to replace, and everywhere within the site those words will be automagically “translated” to whatever you want. I’ve used this method to “translate” the words “blog” and “blogs” to “site” and “sites”. Works like a charm.

    Just keep in mind that you’ll need to re-upload your custom language file every time that you update BP.
