Right column dropping below content

Let’s get it out of the way: I’m a complete noob. I’ve created a test site (URL below) and am trying to get BuddyPress running with the Magazine-Basic theme. On the front page, the right column drops below the content. If I read a story, however, it appears normally.

I thought perhaps there was something too wide in that column, but I set the left and center to only be one column wide and the right one just expanded to fill everything – but still underneath the main content.

Any thoughts on what I’m missing? Thanks!

What seems to have happened is you’ve closed a div twice or something similar. That column is now outside the main div which is why it’s dropped below. If you use an inspector (safari/chrome) you can see and I’d suggest going back in and checking what happened div wise.

Thanks for the reply. Weird note: I decided to go on transferring content from the current site to this development site, planning to fix that later once I got some responses from those who know better. I added a few posts before I saw your response and as soon as the posts extended to the third line in the main content area, the right column shifted back up to where it should be.
