Searching BuddyPress.Org – HOW?

If I am logged in or not, when I preform a Search at BuddyPress.Org via the Search box it only returns me to the Front Page.

After Log In I do not get any Results from Searches at any other pages either. Very frustrating.

What’s up? Not Searching. lol

Go to Google type a search term plus site:buddypress.org

[activity meta site:buddypress.org]

Yes it is frustrating.
And a known issue which makes the continuing presence of the search box rather perverse.

Why not remove it?
Or replace it with a google search box ?

AGREE, this is very frustrating as most of us come here to search for help and only to find the Search function anything but helpful.

@modemlooper, thank you for the tip. I end up using Google’s search engine, but have completely forgotten to the site:buddypress.org search meta data.
