Styling bp-default menu in child theme

    Hi there.

I’m new to child themes and I don’t have a ton of CSS experience… I’m currently trying to create a child theme for http://occupyeugene.net

I’d like to change the transparency/color settings of the “tabs” in the menu in bp-default theme, but I can find the settings for these. You can see an example of the tabs at http://testbp.org (in the main nav menu).

The tabs are fairly dark grey and transparent. Obviously, on my site, http://occupyeugene.net, where my header is black, these tabs become invisible. I would like to style them to match the dropdown parts of the menu: grey background, with darker grey on hover.

    Any help?

**Apologize for the double post, but I can’t find any of my past forum posts when I look for them… **
