“The file could not be recognized as a supported media”

    No change that I make seems to matter, I have even turned off validation to see if that would get past it initially. Any ideas as to why this wouldn’t work? Images and music both don’t seem to matter, nor does the file size.

    Wordpress 3.1.1
    Buddypress 1.28
    Buddypress Media 0.19

    @thirdstyle What sort of media are you trying to upload, and which version of the nightly build are you using?

    I have tried png’s, jpg’s and mp3’s

    I am using the build from bp-media-2010-12-01.zip

    The last thing I was going to try was to back up to bp-media-2010-9-27.zip ..

    Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

    bp-media-2010-9-27.zip does now work. There was a bug in the getid3 location here, but otherwise, looking great.

    Still not sure whats wrong with the newer builds. but for now, this one IS working ..
