The way Facebook replies are imported

  • I didn’t see this brought up anywhere so here it is :)

All of the sudden Facebook importing started to work, however, if someone replies to something of mine on Facebook, it looks like this:
    stang5_0 posted a status: 1 hour, 33 minutes ago · View · Delete
    I love our mornings together, and I love you! <img src="smileys/heart.gif" width="" height="" alt="<3" title="

I did not post that status, my wife did. While I’d like to “LIKE” it on my stream, it would look corny liking a statement that looks like it is from me. Make sense?
The link to the activity is here:

Another example is this activity where a friend on Facebook answered a question about me. But I had nothing to do with the post. It looks like it my stream:

Any ideas or thoughts on this? Anyone else seeing this as well?

Ah… ok I see now… perhaps a simple text change… We can look at this for 1.03…. 1.02 will be out in a couple of days…. for now use an import filter so only things with a tag like #stangs will show in your buddypress site.

It would be nice to bring in the person’s name from Facebook, but I don’t imagine security allows for that.
