tired of the default buddypress login/sign up form.

hi there. i have a social networking site which i have created using wordpress and buddypress. the thing is, am tired of the default buddypress login form and the way its showing the members contents and comments to the logged out people. i want some privacy where by if someone searches for my site on any search engine, they end up on a nice configured landing page that includes a log in page and a sign up page with maybe a little picture on the side and a nice background. Does anyone know a better way of doing this? Thank you.

? this is a rather broad request without any detail really. All we can suggest is that if you want to do something like this then you’ll need moderate coding skills and an understanding of how WP themeing works then you’ll want to set about building a new front page either as home.php or a page set as static page in the WP dashboard reading options. The place to start is the WP codex and any guides dealing with building themes and/or the template hierarchy.
