I try to keep my stuff up to the latest version of WP and it looks like the extra features of BP 1.3 will be worth the wait. I was really looking at what the ETA for BP 1.3 is likely to be. I’m in the same boat as you. I’d like to use buddypress for a couple of upcoming projects but I wont be doing so till it is compatible with WP 3.0+
