<p>I added my own .mo file to change the way the word &#8216;members&#8217; was written and also added the BP_MEMBERS_SLUG define in wp-config.php and it was effective over the whole site, even in places where I&#8217;d not noticed the word &#8216;members&#8217; . </p>
