I’ve installed buddypress & bbpress
it seems that buddypress wants directories that don’t exist/haven’t been created
for example when I go to create a group it references a directory that doesn’t exist

“The requested URL /freefish-org/groups-2/create/ was not found on this server.”

get the feeling it has something to do with .htaccess not dir/file permissions
tried a few diff themes – same problem – can’t find directories which appear not to have been installed
assume it’s me not bp
