<p>Did you determine how to do this? I&#8217;m trying to do something similar. I&#8217;ve figured out that I needed to create a bp-custom.php file, and I&#8217;ve used that to rearrange and rename the menu items in the buddypress profile page. But similar to you, I want to move the page title and avatar.</p>

<p>It was my inexperience in php coding (a huge understatement). The problem was spaces before the &lt;?php line, and spaces after the final ?&gt;.</p>
<p>Next time I will use the code tag &#8211; still new to this.</p>
