So if you reverted to bp-default and nothing happened that should tell you right there that it is a theme issue! I would make a complaint to them and request they fix this immediately or you expect a prompt refund! </p>

Have you tried reverting back to bp-default to see if the issue persists? This is basic troubleshooting procedures. This way you can isolate if it is a theme issue.</p>

What theme are you using as well as plugins? Sounds kinda like you may have got a theme from somewhere other than a reputable place and maybe it has some java-script that is causing this. Have you tried switching themes to Twenty Twelve or bp-default and deactivated all plugins other than BuddyPress? </p>

No there is no CSS upgrade. The strikethrough indicates that style has been overridden using !important. Look further around the CSS to find what has overridden that particular style and make changes to that and then you should see the changes.</p>

If you don&#8217;t see all those folders and files, then re-upload BuddyPress manually, i.e., via s/FTP. </p>
