I&#8217;m using a Genesis theme and other than this one issue everything else works fine but if I use a buddy press theme the box shows up when they go to edit their profile. IDK why I didn&#8217;t find this sooner but maybe some other dumb person will find this and it will save them some time.</p>

I installed buddypress so users could friend each other but when a user clicks the link on the friends widget it takes them to the buddypress activity stream. Is there a way to setup the link to go to their blog instead of the activity stream. I have googled the problem and found the answer to add &#8220;remove_action( ‘bp_init’, ‘bp_core_wpsignup_redirect’ );&#8221; to my theme&#8217;s functions.php file. Even after doing this it still takes me to the buddypress registration page.
