Changing this in the php.ini fixed the issue.

define ( ‘BP_AVATAR_FULL_WIDTH’, 450 );
define ( ‘BP_AVATAR_FULL_HEIGHT’, 450 );

I have an issue where if a user uses certain special characters, such as ñ, their profile cannot be saved.

Everything is set to UTF-8, including php and the database.

Any and all help would be greatly apprecaited.
