Normally, I don&#8217;t think anyone creates duplicate fields like I did. I knew that was the issue once I realized that I mistakingly created fields that already exist.</p>

I created another field call occupation and teacher was one of the options. This new field interfered with the teacher role, and that is what was causing the issue. Thanks for your help.</p>

<p>Actually I was talking to Chris 🙂 I&#8217;m pretty sure you don&#8217;t have to change anything in your plugin to let people protect groups/courseware pages with S2Member. </p>
<p>It&#8217;s as easy a restricting certain URI for payed members only. </p>
