<p>I think when BuddyPress analyzes the URI WP Query&#8217;s is_404 property is true.<br />
So when my WAF checks is_404() in template_redirect hook it detects group pages as a 404.<br />

During this bp_current_component() returns &#8216;groups&#8217;.<br />
Could you please fix BP to keep is_404 false?</p>

<p>Our login page is a 404, so any meta in it has no effect.</p>

<p>Search engines see the hidden admin bar and the login and register links.<br />
Is there a way to add <code>rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;</code> as our login page is pretending to be a 404.</p>
