How to change default member role in Buddypress 2.5

    Hi,

    I’ve seen other posts, but they seem to be old or not to this version, so for myself and others new to Buddypress and/or version 2.5, I figured I’d post this question for a definitive answer.

    System:

    WP 4.4.2
    Buddypress 2.5

    How do you change the default role of a new member upon signup?
