Buddy Press 1.2.4 – email confirmation process error (3 posts)

    I’m using WPMU 2.9.2, BP 1.2.4.

    While testing my site I have experienced the following problem on every test sign-up I have done:

    After clicking the activation link in the email I get an “Oops! This link appears to broken.” in the browser window. When I refresh the page I get: “There was an error activating your account please try again.” and underneath that is the form to Activate your account and a field to submit your Activation key”

    The support at WPMU-Dev say it appears to be a BuddyPress core bug. Anybody else having the same problem?

    I am, as well, ixian — but not sure why. Doing a lot of digging but it doesn’t seem obvious.

    Same here. I’ve disabled all plugins that could possibly be messing with these processes. Not a clue.
