    Hey Gang.

I just learned about BP last week, so far so good. I have it installed, along with WP3. I searched your forum but could not find a similar inquiry, which is this:

Can I have users login, via the front end of the site (i.e. the way any other social network site allows) rather than have them login to a WP dashboard?

I want to build a community website, but not have them have to login to an unfamiliar page, and update their information in a whole new looking website. I want them to login and update/edit their profile while remaining in my website. Can this be done, with or without WPMU?

    Thanks in advance!

    Welcome aboard!

Absolutely, this is the default behavior. This site, for example, is running buddypress, so by joining and logging in you just experienced BP goodness. Also check out testbp.org. That is a default install of BP and represents what you get out of the box.

Hey TeeBes, thanks for the welcome. You’re right, somewhere I thought I’d have to login via default WP pages. I did find a link from this forum, about branding the the forgot password page etc so the WP default isn’t used. But the plugin or the membership to obtain the plugin was $30. That’s not crackin’ so do you know if one similar for free?

    Thanks!
