Inconsistency when turning at-username into link (4 posts)

    When people make comments in response to a post, if they type in the at sign followed by a member’s username (@username) sometimes, this turns into a link to the members profile. But sometimes, this does NOT happen.

    Does anyone know why? Or, can anyone point me to the code that does this?

    I think they should work fine in WordPress comments. If you can figure out how to make it stop working reliably, let us know on http://buddypress.trac.WordPress.org

    Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to make it stop working reliably, so I want to put logging to track the behaviour.

    Can you please point me to where I would need to go to put logging?

    For anyone else who wants to know, the function is bp_activity_at_name_filter, and the location is wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-activity/bp-activity-filters.php
