Nevermind..I figured it out..in case anyone else has the same issue with Custom Community, you have to go into your achievements.php, just remove or comment out the contect between the menu item tag just underneath this line: div id=”item-nav”
OK..Any hints how to adjust templates for that would be greatly appreciated. Not sure what I’m looking for. Give me a smidge of hint?
The Custom Community Theme is the only one I can get all the plugins I use to work together, have tons of errors on all the others I have tried. Thanks, Paul
Hi, Paul! There is a bug “echo” of sorts on the user profile page. You can see it here: http://artfirelink.com/members/Susan_Adams/achievements/
The menu is appearing twice. There are a couple of other errors that may hint at whats to blame. No points are awarded when the achievement is given from an event.
I have systematically deactivated all the plugins with just achievements and buddypress running..and a couple of others, and still shows up double menu.
Looking for a fix or insight. Thanks!
Ah, found the Feed, Still curious about the plugin though.
Two things..first, terrified to update..last one cost me tons of work..crashed everything. Second, this is directly to George: Your BP Lots Feeds..accommodates my need for feeds in Forums..does it still work with the new updates? Not been updated for a while.
If the Buddypress 1.6.1 has forums feed already, where the heck do I find them.
My network is a bunch of baby boomers selling crafts. I teach them how to be a merchant more effectively. Their stores on Artfire.com has a widget per seller where they can add a rapid cart, shopping window or a collection. All the code is clean and safe, no other code will be allowed. I’m aware of the spammer risks..been there, done that.
The field should look similar to a blog post editor or text widget. Besides, the rapid cart code won’t work unless a shortcode is made by adding the script to the widget area and then shortcode for it in the field. This is why I’m wondering if the multisite is a better fit, harder, but better fit for what I want to offer.
The Ning sites had pages for members like such. They were drag and drop fields with the ability to accept code. Like a comment box might. This is what I need for members. I already have a member approval mechanism installed. They have to attend the basic instructions of how to blog, to be able to use the field I need made. A sign of who they are.
