@aweathers; this might help… http://bp-tricks.com/featured/new-theme-bp-default-member-blog-multisite-communties/. Not sure if you want this specifically, but it allows you to have matching themes across your blogs in your install.. you can’t run BuddyPress on them though..

1) Set the URL remapping option to “on”.
2) Paste this in the box: http://ourplink.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/
3) Click “Save”

It is possible to fix this problem by modifying your .htaccess file.

The defect will be fixed in maintenance release 0.1.8.1 which we’ll probably be uploading to the WP plugins site sometime within the next 2 weeks.

@bazonline – You shouldn’t have much trouble then. Just activate bp-default on the community blog only and not on all the blogs.
