For me categories will would definitely be more useful, mainly because I want to organize groups hierarchically and use sub-cats to help narrow the options. The group tag allows almost same thing to do, so I dropped the idea of developing a plugin to categorize the groups. Do you think, a group category will be more useful than group tags and what differences you expect ? just curious and want to understand the use case..
