Ok just making sure, I have updating the plugin but still no profile tab showing
take members to their own profile page. members/username is the user profile page but when you click on the member tab, it direct you to the members directory then you can click on the avatar and it take you to your profile. So how would i link the tab in http://www.mysite.com/members/username?
And Im trying to hide member directory as well.
Could you add the option to select what you want to show in the drop down menu? In the screenshot it show a drop down menu with activity, forum, groups, etc but what if I dont offer forum and groups on my site at? Just a request, Im happy that the plugin is getting updated.
Thanks in advance!
Cool! What if I wanted to use the members tab and change the name to profile…. how would i change the permalink to link to http://www.mysite.com/members/username?
Thanks for the post, unfortunately, I already did the upgrade this morning and didnt check the box for the toolbar. How do i bring back the wizard so i can check the do not change toolbar box? i tried to delete buddypress and reinstall it but it didnt bring the wizard back.
You seem to know your stuff, unfortunately im not a php developer. I know a tiny html but that it. I can probably figure it out if you break it down a littler further for me (sorry).
Now would i the header php page?
‘add_filter(‘show_admin_bar’, ‘__return_false’);` in your functions.php file to turn off fully.
Alternatively, you can use:
‘Settings > BuddyPress : Toolbar Show the Toolbar for logged out users’
You can also select to show or hide the WordPress admin bar on your own profile.
If none of those work for you then you may need to look see if your theme is forcing something.
where would I put the add_filter? can I put it at the bottom?
@modemlooper have you tried the profile menu plugin with 1.6 yet? I dont know what Im doing wrong but its not working on 1.6.

P.S. the code is in the activity section and I still cant find that div to erase it
Thank you so much, I already had the activity-loop.php on the front page but the load button is not working on the homepage but its working on the activity page. I was going to make a blog page but the activity page is on there so that is where Im stuck.
