Even with latest stable versions of WP and BP user uploaded photos (as avatars via BP) DOES NOT show up globally in WP multiuser blog posts and comments. Expected : @Tom should be seen as 0 or nothing as Tom has nothing to see now

Is there any critical risk or problem if bp-core-avatars.php from BP 1.2.3 is used in 1.2.4.1 ?
