I really like this plugin and discovered it right before upgrading to 3.1. Hopefully it can be made 3.1 compatible. This is a vital plugin for K-12 school distiricts with lots of kids blogging.

@greeneja @greeneja We are currently exploring the possibilities of using courseware. I like the concept and Stas is an awesome developer! He is extremely helpful.

We are using the WPMU LDAP plugin from here: http://wpmuldap.tuxdocs.net/ It seems to work really well. I couldn’t get any of the other ldap plugins to work properly.

Does the editor toolbar require a special plugin to get the WYSIWYG buttons for editing the course descriptions etc in the courseware area?

Currently my install only has the HTML buttons. I am wondering if there is a conflict with some other plugin or a missing call in my theme.

Hat’s off to @sushkov for developing such a cool and impressive plugin. I am very optimistic about it’s development and what this can do for educational communities. Stas is also VERY supportive in answering questions and finding solutions.

I just did what I mentioned above and tried to activate the plugin and got this error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in wp-content/plugins/courseware.php on line 14

I would really like that Stas! The code that makes the group admin the teacher automatically would be ideal. As for removing the option for them to request being a teacher, couldn’t I just remove that from the Buddypress Profile Dashboard page?
